The official registration period for new students for the 2012-2013 school year is February 6- March 29.  Register your child for Nursery if he/she turns 4 years old by September 30th, 2012 and 5 years old for Kindergarten by picking up a form at the Kanesatake Education Center for the school year of 2012-2013.

Peanut & Nut Products-We have a student in school with a peanut allergy.  Please do not send any products containing nuts, especially peanut butter, in your child's lunch.  Your continued support is very much appreciated.

Please provide the courtesy of letting us know of any changes regarding your child's travel arrangements. Who will pick him/her up, etc. Notification in writing in the agenda, a short note or a telephone call would be greatly appreciated.  Please note that the students may not get off at a friends house.  It is the parents responsibility to board and disembark their pre-school child (ren) from the bus at home.  Should there be no parent to meet the bus, the child will be returned to school. 

Let's be careful!  Please slow down your vehicle when going through the school zone to 50 km. When a school bus flashes it's yellow lights, prepare to stop.  The yellow lights are called pre-signalling lights and are to prepare motorists for the flashing red lights that require them to stop at least 5 metres from school busses.  Drivers who fail to stop when a school bus flashes it's red lights can be fined up to $300.00 and be given nine demerit points.
